Konstru plugin installation for SAP2000
This page covers some common topics around the installation of the Konstru plugin for SAP2000
SAP2000 require a few additional steps for proper plugin installation.
Download the plugin from the Konstru website
Double click the installation file Konstru.exe
Select the versions of SAP2000 you would like to install Konstru as seen in the image below. Please note, Konstru supports many versions of SAP2000. The Konstru plugin can only be installed for the versions of SAP2000 that are currently installed on your computer.
To verify the files have been loaded in the correct location, open windows file explorer and navigate to %appdata%/Konstru/SAP and verify the appropriate folders are there.
Once the installer has finished running, open SAP2000 and navigate to TOOLS > ADD / SHOW PLUGINS
Click Browse and navigate to the appropriate SAP2000 Konstru plugin folder %appdata%/Konstru/SAP
For example, for SAP2000 v23 navigate to the Konstru.SAP.23.Plugin.dll
Confirm the Plugin Name and the Menu Text and click ADD
For example, for SAP2000 v23 the Plugin Name is Konstru.SAP.V23.Plugin and the Menu Text is myKonstru.SAP.23.Plugin
