Downloading Konstru Objects in Grasshopper
Descriptions on how to download Konstru Objects and Geometry within Grasshopper
Using the "Select Model" component, select the desired model to download. This component will pull the model from your Konstru model library and retrieve its ID.
Using the "Download Konstru" component, plug in the ID from the "Select Model" component. Upon connection, a Konstru dialog box will pop up with a progress bar, displaying that the model is being currently downloaded. Unless a specific version of the selected model is specified, Konstru will automatically download the latest version.
To select a different version, connect a text panel with the name of the version you are looking for. All available versions of the models can be found by connecting the ID of the "Select Model" component to the "Versions" component.
After successfully downloading, the "Download Konstru" component will preview the model in an analytical, center-line form. To view the 3D representation of the elements, extract the desired elements using any of the "Get Element" components.
Viewing 3D representations of a model contain many elements can cause lag, and Grasshopper will take a moment to visualize the data. Be aware this is subjective to the capacity of your computer.
