Filtering Custom Attributes

Extending Filtering further.

Konstru Filters allow not only object Types and their Properties to be managed during upload or download, but also specific Attributes on those objects. By extending the reach of filtering to the attribute level, Konstru gives users the most flexibility and control over their interoperability. Examples of common object attributes are sometimes geometric positioning such as 'Justification' and sometimes custom created attributes (such as is possible with Konstru Grasshopper or Konstru Excel).

Filter Konstru Attributes

Konstru "Attributes" account for any data point that is not a 'Property'. Whilst attributes are not considered critical to an upload or download, users are able to manage their assignment with the Profile Mapper interface using the 'Attributes' tab.

As it's possible for an attribute to be any value, the user is asked to enter (exactly) the name of the specific object attribute they will to prevent from being uploaded or downloaded to the 'Attributes' dialog box in the object type Filter, as seen below.

In this specific instance, the user has allowed Beam objects to be translated with the most of the key Properties, except the 'Name'. Additionally, the user has decided that she wishes to prevent Konstru from uploading or updating the attributes 'JustificationZ' + 'JustificationY' + 'Rotation'.
