Area

Area elements are supported in the following applications: SAP, Grasshopper, Excel.

	Create Area - Create an area element by a surface Surface - untrimmed surface that defines the geometrical representation of the Area element. Profile objects are also accepted Name - name of element (optional) Thickness - the thickness of the Area element (in the same units as Rhino document) Material - material the element should consist of Attributes - attributes to attach to the element. Use the Konstru Attribute component.
	Create Area from mesh - Create an area elements from a mesh Mesh - mesh that defines the elements. Each face in the mesh will become an individual Area element Name - name of element (optional) Thickness - the thickness of the Area element (in the same units as Rhino document) Attributes - attributes to attach to the element. Use the Konstru Attribute component. Show Extruded Surfaces - If true, an extruded surface will be created for each face to visualize the Area element. For meshes with many elements this can significantly slow down your definition
