Beam
Beam elements are supported in the following applications: Revit, Tekla, RAM, SAP, Grasshopper, Etabs, Excel.
Create Beam - Create a beam element by a profile and curve
Profile - profile of the beam
Curve - curve representing the centerline of the beam
Name - name of the element
Rotation - rotation about the beam's centerline axis (degrees). The rotation is performed counterclockwise
Z Offset - eccentricity of the profile relative its local Z axis (vertical if beam is parallel with global XY plane)
Y Offset - eccentricity of the profile relative its local Y axis (left hand side if beam hasn't been rotated)
Start Extension - extension of the beam's start node
End Extension - extension of the beam's end node
Justification Z - right click on this input to see options or connect the Z Justification component
Justification Y - right click on this input to see options or connect the Y Justification component
Material - material the element should consist of
IsBrace - If set to true, a Brace element will be created
Attributes - attributes to attach to the element. Use the Konstru Attribute component.
Get Beam - Get a beam element from a Konstru model
